🏈🏆SWAC Championship is none other than “THE” Alabama A&M University aka “The Hill!” 🐶 AAMU was founded in 1875 by its first principal and president, William Councill who was also an ex-slave after Alabama officials used the Morrill Act which allowed establishment of colleges for African American students. AAMU is one of the largest graduate schools among the nation’s HBCUs and the only one of the land - grant universities to offer four doctorate degrees. AAMU is a dynamic and a rapidly progressing university located in Normal, AL with a strong commitment to academic excellence.
